How the comparison works

Average volume is the sum of the three readings divided by three. Percentage difference is 100 times the average minus your reference, divided by your reference. Positive values mean the readings averaged above the reference, and negative values mean they averaged below it. The tool does not silently convert units.

Choose a defensible reference

A cup label may not promise an exact delivered volume. Prefer a documented previous result for the same coffee, pod, selected size and measuring method. Keep water-only and coffee-brewing comparisons separate because they do not necessarily describe the same operating conditions.

What the result can tell you

Consistent short readings support reporting a repeatable observation. Variable readings suggest recording what interrupted the cycle. Neither pattern identifies a pump, heater or scale blockage by itself. Follow the matching diagnostic guide rather than adjusting a stored size to disguise a fault.
